Welcome to Garasu Lodge!
We would like to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The following guidelines should give you an easy to follow introduction to lighting, TV/Foxtel, Wi-Fi, Radio, DVD and use of facilities.
Check-in: Please call us on 0413 306 678 or 0402 000 728 on arrival so we can check you in and give you a short induction to the lodge.
Check-out: No Later than 10am. Please call us when you are ready to check out and finalise all transactions.
Lighting: Light switches are directly opposite the main entrance marked up on the wall.
Air Conditioning: The remote controls are next to the air conditioning units on the wall. Do not operate air conditioners unless all windows and doors are closed.
Fire Place: Subject to the seasons, the caretaker will supply you with wood and give you an induction.
TV (Foxtel): Use other remote control to change channels.
DVD: Self explanatory
Wi-Fi: Is available, password will be advised on arrival.
Washing Machine: Self explanatory.
Dryer: Self explanatory.
Espresso Machine: Press button on top to switch on. Make sure the water container is filled. Three buttons on front panel will illuminate. Press bottom button first to cleanse and heat the cup. Insert the capsule under the leaver and press the middle (cappuccino) or top button (espresso).
Hot Water: The house is connected to solar hot water. In case the water is not hot enough, you’ll find the override button in the cabinet under the stairs. Only to be used as a short term override.
Spa: Please inform the caretaker well in advance when you want to use the spa. Depending on outside temperature, it may take a few hours to heat up.
Sauna: The caretaker will give you a brief induction. Children are not permitted in the sauna.
BBQ: Contact caretaker if more wood is required.
Tennis: The tennis court has to be booked and is available from 8am to 8pm at a charge of $30 to be paid when required. All gear is available if needed.
Flood Lights: Please contact caretaker.
Breakfast: Regrettably we are currently not offering this service.
Parking: Free parking is available for 2 cars under cover.
Entertaining: Due to local government noise regulations, entertaining after 10pm is restricted to indoors.
Biocycle: Please be aware that all waste water is connected to a biocycle (domestic environmental waste water system). Please do not use harsh cleaning solutions such as bleach and/or any other strong chemicals. Do not flush personal hygiene products and wipes down the toilet as these are not bio degradable and will block the system.
CCTV: The property has 24 hr CCTV surveillance but we suggest you lock your cars.
Pets: Garasu Lodge is pet friendly. We provide pet beds and request that you do not allow your dog to sleep in your bed or on any other furniture item. Extra cleaning charges or repairs will be deducted from the Refundable Damage Deposit in case of breaches. While outdoors your dog must be kept on the lead.
Fly screens: Please keep fly screens closed at all times. We are in Queensland and you would not like unwelcome visitors inside the house.
